2013 Tunisia-IADR CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Important Dates to Remember:

Email Abstract Submission starts.....................................May 31, 2013
Abstract Submission Deadline...........................................July 31, 2013
Abstract Notifications Emailed to Presenters....................August 2013
Presenter Pre-registration Deadline...............................September 2013

When submitting an abstract, authors must select under which topic they want to present
their paper.
All Accepted abstracts will be selected for:

1- Oral presentations: the allotted time is 10 minutes
2- Poster Presentations
3- Or Reports

The title page should indicate the type of presentation intended and the category in which the
abstract should be considered.

Endodontics
Implantology
Oral and maxillofacial surgery
Orthodontics
Oral medicine and oral surgery
Oral and related sciences research
Periodontology
Paediatric dentistry
Prosthodontics

General rules and Guidelines:
Abstracts must be written in English
Abstracts must be submitted by e.mail as Word (.doc / .docx) to the following addresse:
[email protected]


- Individuals may present only one poster
- Previously published poster material or those presented at another meeting are not
allowed

All abstracts must include the following information:
Titles: Abstract titles are limited to 10 words or less
Authors: Enter first name, and last name for each author plus institution/affiliation. Underline
the name of the presenting author(s) only.
Abstract Text: All abstracts should be 300 words or less. Type the abstracts in small letters
(Arial 10). The use of tables or figures is allowed. Do not include references.

The abstract must contain a brief statement of:
a. The objectives of the investigation
b. Experimental methods used
c. Essential results, including data and, where appropriate, statistics
d. Conclusion

Reports: Original Case Reports and case series will provide clinically valuable information
for dental students. They should include the following sections:
- All abstract should be no more than 200 words. Do not include references
- Objectives
- Case description
- Results
- Conclusion

PLEASE NOTE:
All communication between TUNISIA-IADR and the presenter will take place via
email. The email address used will be the one you supply when submitting your
abstract (listed under the presenter’s name). Please make sure that you use a valid,
long-term email address so that you will receive all important notices that are sent
from TUNISIA-IADR regarding your abstract and presentation at the meeting.
