Dental Implants
Dental implants are one of the solutions to missing teeth. Implants can be an alternative solution to dentures or dental bridges.
Used as support structures for artificial teeth, dental implants are inserted into the jawbone beneath the gum tissue. Once in place, they will feel comfortable and with the right artificial teeth, they will look completely natural. Dental implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth all the way up to an entire set of teeth in an arch.
Dentures
Dentures are removable artificial teeth meant to replace part or all the missing teeth in your mouth. Dentures are either full or partial.
Full dentures replace all the missing teeth in one or both jaws. A full denture can be a functional and beautiful restoration. Custom design and tooth arrangement can create a natural smile and provide years of service.
Partial dentures are also removable and replace missing teeth (sometimes called a removable bridge) in one or both jaws. Partial dentures are an economical and effective treatment and with careful planning and execution, they can provide a comfortable and healthy restoration that improves esthetics and function.
Crowns
Crowns (or caps as they are called by many people), are artificial structures used to cover tooth that is broken, fractured, decayed, or damaged. Individually, crowns restore badly damaged teeth to look brand new.
With modern materials and help of latest technology, crowns can create beautiful functional teeth that will improve your confidence in your smile.
Here at ClearCare Periodontal & Implant Centre, we have over 40 years of experience in restoring hard to fix teeth. When your dental health is important to you, you can trust our team at ClearCare to provide you with the care that you need.
Bridges
A bridge is a non removable restoration supported and retained by natural teeth or by implants. A bridge will replace one or more missing teeth and fill the gaps in your smile. It will allow your mouth to function properly while distributing the forces in your bite. A bridge will also prevent existing teeth from moving out of position.
Periodontal Surgery
Periodontal or gum disease is highly preventable. Generally, conservative recommendations are made first to restore periodontal health. These interventions might include personalized oral hygiene modifications and nonsurgical “deep cleaning” or scaling and planing. Patients with more advanced forms of gum disease may benefit from periodontal surgery performed by Dr. Hoda Hosseini at ClearCare Periodontal & Implant Centre.
