Dr. Dane Grovenstein was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Biomedical Science and a minor in Music Performance (trumpet) in 2010. In 2012, he completed his Masters in Biology at Auburn, and in 2016 he became a DMD, graduating from the University of Alabama Dental School. He recently earned his certification to administer in-office conscious sedation. For Dr. Grovenstein, the best part of his job is the opportunity to improve his patients’ overall health by providing quality dental care in a comfortable environment. When he’s not helping patients in the office, Dr. Grovenstein loves to spend time with his wife, Johanna, play with his son James who they welcomed to the world in 2017, as well as read books and play video games.
Jordan grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and has worked in the dental field since 2004. She married her high school sweetheart in 2005, and they have two daughters together. Her hobbies and interests include cooking, reading, traveling and playing with her kids.
Heather grew up in Locust Fork, Alabama, with two younger brothers. She received her dental hygienist training at Wallace State Community College in 2010. Her favorite part of working at Deerfoot Dental is seeing great patients and providing them with exceptional care. Heather has been married since 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, reading, and playing video games.
Kelly grew up in Center Point, lived in Springville, and now resides in Trussville, Alabama. She attended Jefferson State Junior College and Auburn University before going back to Wallace State Community College, where she earned an Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. Her favorite part of working at Deerfoot Dental is helping people obtain beautiful, healthy smiles. Kelly is married and has a daughter, two stepdaughters and a grandson. Her favorite things to do in her spare time are spending time with her family and friends and watching her grandson grow.
Callie has aspired to be a dental hygienist since the age of six. She attended Wallace State Community College and majored in Dental Assisting, earning an Associates degree in Applied Science. Callie is also CPR-certified and working toward her Certified Dental Assistant certification, which she will receive in 2019. Her favorite part of her job is being able to express her creative side while taking care of her patients by providing a valuable service. In her spare time, Callie enjoys listening to music, crocheting, writing, cross-stitching and other projects. She has a Yorkie named Spunky and currently resides in her hometown of Clay with her parents.
Michelle is from Wheatfield, Indiana, and currently resides in Hueytown, Alabama. She received her dental assistant training at Ross Medical Education Center in 1990, and has had a chairside dentistry career for 27 years. Her favorite role on the Deerfoot Dental team is educating people about dental care. Michelle has been married for 26 years, and has three children and one grandchild. She loves to shop and get a good deal. She says, “I love the South and the Southern hospitality – this is home! Glad God moved us to this area in 2001!”
