Joan Aulick is the warm, comforting face that greets you when you enter the office, and is usually the kind voice that answers the phone when patients call to schedule an appointment with the Doctor or Hygienist. Joan received a degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She also sends out reminders to patients who are due to come in for their continuing care. Joan undergoes several responsibilities, and keeps the office running smoothly. In 2011 she was voted Burnet County favorite secretary. She is the core of the dental practice, and prides herself in her genuine concern and willingness to help. In every visitor she receives, and in every call she answers, she makes the clients’ happiness, and satisfaction her priority.
Theresa Phillips is the dental hygienist of the office, and presents a disciplined background in her pursuit of assisting others with a balanced, and healthy approach towards preventive oral health. She holds a registered dental hygiene license from the Wharton School of Dental Hygiene. Theresa specializes in preventive oral health, typically focusing on techniques in oral hygiene. Common procedures performed by the hygienist include cleanings known as prophylaxis, scaling and root planing for patients with periodontal disease, taking of prescribed radiographs, dental sealants, administration of fluoride, and providing instructions for proper oral hygiene and care.
Nancy Parks is one of the three dental assistants of the office. She first began her career in Florida where she found her calling in this field, and became a registered Dental Assistant.
