Root Canal Treatment
If you have had a root canal infection, you know how painful the symptoms can be. The reason it's so painful is that bacteria have entered the soft inner core of the tooth where nerves are located and caused an infection. The tissue in this soft core is called dental pulp. When pulp is inflamed or infected, there are only two options to treat it: perform a root canal or remove the tooth. In most cases, we will recommend root canal treatment to preserve the tooth.

Dental Implants
Placing a dental implant is a minor surgical procedure best handled by experienced dentists. Our dentists attend hundreds of hours of continuing education on the intricacies of implants, and you couldn’t be in more capable hands. Implant placement is not painful because we use a strong local anesthetic to completely numb the area so you won’t feel anything. Any post-operative sensitivity in the days following is typically easy to control with over-the-counter remedies.

Dental Crowns and Bridges
Our teeth are incredibly strong and durable, but we subject them to tremendous wear and tear. Over time, it's common for them to weaken, break or become decayed when they're not cared for properly. When this occurs, our dentists might recommend protecting the tooth with a dental crown. A crown covers an entire tooth like a cap to protect it from further damage. Since it provides a new surface to chew on, a crown is like a do-over for a damaged tooth.

Tooth Extraction & Oral Surgery
It can be difficult to hear that your dentist recommends removing a tooth. There's an emotional aspect to losing a part of yourself, and then you have to think about the procedure and what to do about tooth replacement.
