Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome (TMJ) is a common condition affecting a wide variety of people. TMJ is characterized by severe headaches, jaw pain of varying degrees, grinding teeth, and an intermittent ringing in the ears. The vast majority of TMJ sufferers are unaware that the root cause of these problems is something that a dentist can effectively treat. The symptoms of TMJ are debilitating and can greatly interfere with every day life. The comfort and general well being of the patient is at the heart of the dental practice, so pain relief is the first consideration of the dentist. Our doctors are able to test, diagnose, and devise an immediate plan to treat the underlying causes of the TMJ disorder.

Gum graft surgery is necessary if you have advanced stages of gum recession and it’s been recommended to protect your teeth from further damage or bone loss. You may also choose to have the surgery for cosmetic reasons, such as to eliminate a “toothy” smile and achieve a more symmetrically even gum line. There are 3 types of gum graft surgery. Dr. Bokser can explain your options and help determine the best approach for enjoying a more beautiful smile today.
When your teeth are damaged the inside of the tooth can become infected. This can then have a bad effect upon the pulp of the tooth, i.e., the blood vessels and nerves inside. If you do nothing about this the infection can begin to damage the bone, causing pain and swelling. If this happens to one of your teeth, come see our dentist or Endodontist to determine the best endodontic treatment (Root Canal Therapy) to save the tooth.
Porcelain veneers can give you the smile that you have always dreamed of, regardless of your age. They can provide you with straighter, whiter teeth and are among the most popular treatments on the dental market. Why wait any longer to get the smile you’ve always wanted? Schedule an appointment today.
Crowns are covers that are placed over teeth to restore their shape, size and strength while boosting their appearance. Once crowns are put into place, they encase the whole visible portion of the tooth above the gum line. We can come to your assistance if you require crown restorations. Schedule an appointment today.
