Mouth Guards
Mouth guards serve as excellent protection for your child and their smile! When participating in contact sports, pediatric dentists highly recommend wearing a mouth guard .
Retainers
Hawley retainers are the most common retainers used by orthodontist worldwide for the past 100 years. The Hawley retainer is removable, it includes a metal wire that typically surrounds the six anterior teeth and keeps them in place. It is anchored in an acrylic arch that sits in the palate (roof of the mouth). The acrylic can also be personalized with a large number of colors and/or patterns. Hawley retainers effectively maintains the alignment of the teeth.
Early Dental Care
A child’s first dental visit should be scheduled around his/her first birthday. The most important part of the visit is getting to know and becoming comfortable with a doctor and his staff.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth without the hassle and restrictions of metal braces and wires. Invisalign uses a series of custom-made clear, removable aligners that are changed every 2 weeks. Aligners are worn 20 to 22 hours per day. Progressively your teeth gradually move into place to achieve a beautiful smile. The invisalign product is great for adults and teens.
Braces
Aesthetics are important to anyone who needs orthodontic treatment. Ceramic braces are transparent; these braces take on the natural color of the teeth. Ceramic braces help to create a more pleasing, less conspicuous look for orthodontic patients. The main advantage of ceramic braces is the aesthetic and cosmetic appeal. Although the brackets are clear they do not stain or change colors.
