Root Canal Therapy in South Edmonton
Our teeth are very complex and are intricately structured to function optimally. At the center of our teeth is a large network of tunnels and passageways known as canals. These canals are filled with a substance called the pulp, which holds all the important blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue that provides nutrients to our teeth. When these canals become damaged or infected, it can cause serious pain and even tooth loss if not addressed. The best way to treat this oral health issue is through root canal therapy in South Edmonton.

Dr. Kathryn Sandilands has been in practice since 1994. She is a life-long learner and self-study has been her passion in both her personal and professional life. Along with extensive training in Dentistry, she is an instructor of Sattva Yoga, Meditation and she practices Vipassana. She is a level two Parelli student which is the study of horse whispering and she is a practicing Life Coach, teaching spirituality and Universal Laws. She loves to laugh and have fun and you can always tell when she is in the office! Her passion is people. She began this office in 1999 as a “sanctuary”, a safe place for patients and staff to grow and learn. Her special interest is being able to freeze patients who have difficulty being frozen. As a child she had a phobia of dental work because she didn’t freeze well. This led her to study to find solutions to this issue. Her goal going into dentistry was to help people shift through fear with loving kindness and care. We have not had a single patient we have been unable to freeze. Her greatest joy is watching people transform their fears into trusting relationships in all areas of their lives.
