Dr. Jill Hagan

MEET DR. JILL HAGAN
Born into a family of dentists in Sylacauga, Alabama, Dr. Hagan had an early start in dentistry, beginning in high school at her father’s practice. She received her dental degree from the University of Alabama in 1983. She was the staff dentist for the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind from 1983 to 1987 and was in private practice for 13 years in the Birmingham area before moving to Florida. Her first practice was in Dunedin, but she quickly outgrew that office and moved to the present location in the Northwood Plaza Office Park in 2003.
Dr. Hagan likes to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and materials and is passionate about continuing education, focusing it on the newest techniques and materials in dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and non-surgical gum treatment. She became Invisalign® clear braces certified in 2005 which has been a very exciting and rewarding addition to the practice! She is a 2017 Preferred Provider in the Tampa Bay area for Invisalign!
She is known for her gentle, compassionate touch and many patients comment on her pain-free dentistry.
Bringing a strong sense of aesthetics to her work, Dr. Hagan gives her cosmetic patients an attractive natural look, using quality materials at affordable rates. She is known for her gentle touch and many patients comment on her pain-free dentistry.
Dr. Hagan and her husband are avid sports fans, especially when it comes to the Auburn Tigers and the Tampa Bay Rays! Among the activities Dr. Hagan enjoys in her spare time is volunteering for Clearwater Community Volunteers.
Dr. David Wagner

MEET DR. DAVID WAGNER
Dr. Wagner is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry and practiced for many years in Fort Wayne, Indiana before moving to Clearwater and Northwood Dental. Dr. Wagner’s passion for ongoing training and experience allow him to provide dental services for all ages. Dr. Wagner is trained in the FDA certified LANAP® laser for periodontal disease.
He is a solutions provider for Snoring / Sleep Apnea providing dental devices & alternatives to CPAP machines. Dr. Wagner is able to offer a medically approved dental device alternative to help give you, and your loved ones, a restful, restorative sleep.
Through the years he has kept up with the many advances in dentistry, which has built upon his considerable experience and permits him to provide not only preventive and maintenance dental care, but also to offer better and more natural-looking restorations.
Dr. Saravana Karunagran

MEET DR. KARUNAGRAN BDS, MS, FAGD
Simply stated, Dr. Karunagaran (“Dr. K.”) has a passion for dentistry. He is one of Tampa Bay's premier implant specialists! It is not an exaggeration to say that his favorite “hobby” is to acquire advanced training and staying up-to-date on the latest, cutting edge advancements in implant surgery and restorations. After graduating from dental school in Chennai, South India in 2001, he went on to earn a Master’s degree in biomaterials from the State University of New York at Buffalo; then completed two years of hospital based, advanced general dentistry training with special focus on oral surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He followed that with two additional years of postgraduate training in implant dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and at the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program in Bessemer, Alabama.
Before joining Northwood Dental in 2013, Dr. K. practiced in central Washington at a large multi-clinic facility where he served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry treating a wide range of patients from all walks of life while also teaching new dentists advanced skills. Holding true to form, Dr. K. also served as an affiliate faculty member for both the University of Washington, School of Dentistry and for the Oregon Health and Sciences University, School of Dentistry. He currently holds fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry and is working towards his Mastership.
In his spare time, Dr. K enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his wife, Sammy, who is also a dentist. In addition, they, along with their daughter, Tara, enjoy the family friendly Tampa Bay area.
