Improper or subpar at-home oral hygiene is the most common cause for most of the dental problems. Infrequent teeth brushing and lack of flossing can leave decayed food particles in the mouth resulting in tooth decay and gum disease. These issues can further lead to added oral problems, such as lost teeth, weakened jawbones, and bad breath.

Damaged Soft Tissues

This is another common dental problem that usually occurs when the soft tissue inside the tooth gets damaged. Most dentists suggest a root canal treatment as one of the best options to treat tooth infection. This treatment is done by eliminating the infected tooth and protecting the tooth with sealant, helping it avoid further microbial invasion.

This can further result in weakened and damaged protective tissues that can cause your mouth more vulnerable to broken or chipped teeth, jaw injury, lost teeth, and tooth decay. Some of the most common traumas to the mouth include chipping, cracking, and losing teeth. If any of these conditions happen, you are advised to see your nearest dentist or emergency room to take prompt treatment to save the teeth.
