3. Adding a filling or crown:
The tooth will be more fragile than before. The ligament that attaches the tooth to the bone will help to provide nourishment to the tooth with no pulp. Even though this supply is adequate, the tooth will become more brittle in time. Therefore, the filling or crown offers protection. The patient will able to chew or bite on that tooth after the crown or filling is completed.
