Cris Piessens Dental Clinic has become the choice for many European patients travelling to the Algarve for affordable dental Implants.
In our clinic we work all areas of dentistry, however our specialty is implantology. We also provide training (national / international) on surgical techniques in implantology for other fellow dentists. Currently the clinic has 3 consultation rooms, an operating room, a recovery room, a laboratory, a CBCT, and a training room.
All staff at Cris Piessens Clinic speak fluent English and are members of the Ordem dos Médicos Dentistas (the regulatory body for Portuguese dentists). The medical & dental diplomas of all staff members are valid in every country of the European Union.

The mentor, Dr Cris Piessens is one of Western Europe’s more experienced implantologists placing dental implants since 1987. He celebrated his 1000th dental implant in 2001, and has subsequently placed between 350 and 400 dental implants per year. His extensive clinical experience and continued academic post-graduate courses have made him a leading practitioner in the field of dental implants and oral rehabilitation.
