Justin H. Deckard, D.M.D. graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in both Neuroscience and Religious Studies from the University of Miami. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the recipient of several awards including the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Implant Student award, various merit scholarships and was inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society: Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Upon graduation, he continued his post-doctoral training in a General Practice Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He holds professional memberships with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Academy of Osseointegration and is an alumnus of the Dawson Academy for Advanced Complete Care Dentistry.
Dr. Deckard provides comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on patient comfort, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Deckard practices with a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry with clinical interests in Aesthetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Oral Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Deckard enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, photography, and traveling. His wife, Dr. Sarah Deckard, is also a general dentist, and currently practices in NW Washington DC.
