Dental Crowns & Bridges

The teeth that naturally erupted and developed with us each include a natural crown, the white part of the tooth that is visible when we smile. Healthy teeth are stabilized in the jaw with roots that extend into the supportive bone and surround the pulp chamber, which includes blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue. As a tooth is maturing, the pulp provides the nourishment that it needs to grow and develop properly.
Scaling and Root Planing
Dr. Hee Jee Yoon and the team at Hoover Dental Center treat individuals and families from throughout Los Angeles, California, with non-judgmental, kind yet professional care. This approach to care is built on consistent, routine appointments. At these appointments (dental check-ups), Dr. Yoon performs a complete oral examination. During this examination, the health of the gums that support and protect the teeth is assessed. Depending on what we find during this exam, our valued patients may be appropriate candidates for either a “standard” cleaning or scaling and root planing.
Root Canal Therapy
At Hoover Dental Center, we are as adept at treating 2-year-olds as we are at caring for the health of their 60-year-old grandparents’ smiles! Led by Dr. Hee Jee Yoon, our team’s relationship-based approach to dentistry helps to prevent threats to the health of your teeth, gums, and mouth. These threats include tooth decay and gum (periodontal) disease. We check for early-stage enamel erosion or gum inflammation and other problems during routine appointments. As needed, we recommend interventions to treat the underlying condition promptly. Some interventions may be the only way to preserve badly damaged teeth.
Wisdom Teeth Extractions
Our team at Hoover Dental Center in Los Angeles, California enjoys working with pediatric patients, and is proud to say that we are good at it! Our dentist, Dr. Hee Jee Yoon, formerly cared for the unique needs of children at a pediatric specialty dental practice. With that being said, as children get older, they never have to worry about “graduating” or “aging out” of the dental office that they have come to know and trust. Our center partners with family members of all ages. We are a “constant” at every step of each patient’s oral health journey.
