Dr. Melvin Benson DDS

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Melvin Benson earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry in 2006. Since then, Dr. Benson has sought out any opportunity to pursue continuing education and refine his skills including:

    Completed Dawson Academy Evaluation, Diagnosis and Treatment of Sleep Disorders
    Completing the Core Curriculum at The Dawson Academy, a post-graduate institute dedicated to making good dentists even better through Advanced Dental Techniques and Procedures
    Completing a mini-residency in surgical dental implant placement and bone grafting from the prestigious McGarry Implant Institute in Oklahoma City
    Obtaining certification in Adult Conscious Sedation from DOCS Education, a nationwide training program that helps practicing dentists learn how to ensure the highest level of patient comfort and safety during sedation dentistry
    Completing the TMD Diagnosis and Treatment Masters Track at the Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies
    Continues to share his knowledge and experience as a Dawson Scholar, Dawson Ambassador, and Dawson Study Club Leader of Colorado
    Completing a mini-residency in Oral Facial Pain, TMD Disorders, and Dental Sleep Medicine through Louisiana State University School of Dental of Medicine

Dr. Jacob Dunham DDS

Dr. Jacob Dunham was born and raised in Wiley, Colorado. He grew up riding tractors and helping his dad on their family farm. After high school, he attended Colorado State University where he graduated with a degree in soil and crop sciences. Dr. Dunham went on to attend and graduate from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Dunham is passionate about helping his patients with their dental conditions while making their experience comfortable and enjoyable. He believes in having each patient play an active role in deciding their dental treatment and providing the best care using the highest quality materials. Dr. Dunham has attended the advanced E4D seminar and has implemented same-day crown techniques and procedures in our office.  More than half of Dr. Dunham’s patients receive their permanent crowns the same day as their crown preparation appointment!  He has begun the Dawson Core Curriculum series that Dr. Benson has completed and has set himself a goal to complete the curriculum by the end of 2018.  His most recent post-doctoral education series included advanced techniques in root canals.

Dr. Dunham is a member of the American Dental Associaction (ADA), Colorado Dental Association (CDA), and the Metro Denver Dental Society (MDDS).
