Lanier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is a family dentist office, located in Buford, Georgia. Our highly trained team is led by Buford dentists Alla Brown, DMD, FAGD and Amanda Newberry, DMD. Our team has experience in virtually all aspects of dentistry including preventive dental care, children’s dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. In addition, our office uses some of the most updated digital imaging systems available.

We are conveniently located in Buford, less than 10 minutes from the Mall of Georgia. We see patients of all ages and are currently accepting new patients. Dr. Brown and Dr. Newberry offer several flexible payment options, and we are happy to accept most dental insurance plans. We are excited to offer our Premier Smile Membership, an “in-house membership plan” for patients who don’t have dental insurance. Financing is available to qualified patients for restorative and cosmetic dental treatment plans.

Dr. Alla Brown, DMD, FAGD

Dentist

Dr. Alla Brown received her undergraduate degree in biology from Georgia State University and then went on to graduate with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
While in dental school, one of her most interesting and rewarding experiences was traveling to Ecuador on a mission trip to provide dental care to remote areas of the country. After her graduation, Dr. Brown practiced as an associate in Winder, Ga. until opening her office here in Buford, Ga.
Ever since her graduation, Dr. Brown has made a commitment to provide the highest level of care in the most gentle manner possible along with a desire to make her patients feel entirely at ease.
Continuing Dental Education
Dr. Brown attends numerous continuing education classes in order to provide her patients with the most current and advanced techniques and also volunteers her time within the community at an Atlanta area dental clinic.
Dr. Brown was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This achievement signals Dr. Brown’s commitment to providing excellent dental care. To earn fellowship, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours, pass a comprehensive exam and have been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry for three continuous years.

Dr. Amanda Newberry, DMD

Dr. Amanda Newberry is a rising star in the field of dentistry. Her passion for dentistry was sparked at an early age, when she first began work in 2007, as a surgical assistant for an Atlanta-based oral surgeon. It didn’t take long for her to realize the special relationship a dentist gets to share with their patients, and how rewarding it can be to follow those patients through treatment.
Dr. Newberry’s artistic, intuitive and kind nature makes her a perfect fit for the dental profession. She is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of dentistry through continuing education and providing the most advanced and appropriate care for her patients. As a family dentist, she strives to provide an atmosphere of comfort, community, and care inside and outside the office.
Dr. Newberry graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in biology and holds a doctorate degree in dental medicine from Augusta University Dental College of Georgia, formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia.
