Kenneth D. Loeffler D.M.D., M.A.G.D.
Dentist
Dr. Loeffler is a graduate of Penn State University and Temple University School of Dental Medicine. As a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corp he served at the El Toro Marine Air Station in Santa Ana California for two years after graduation from dental school. He has been a full time practitioner in Lancaster and New Holland since 1976 with an additional focus of hospital based dental rehabilitation for the special needs and phobic patient population. Dr. Loeffler also offers short procedure sedation visits at a local oral surgery office. He is a former member of the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry from 1994 to 2000 nominated by then Governor Casey. During this tenure he served as the Chairman of the Probable Cause Screening Committee and the Expanded Functions Auxiliary Committee.
Membership in the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry and the Pennsylvania and American Dental Associations has helped Dr. Loeffler to maintain a measurement of the pulse of dental care in the United States and the continual progress of optimal care and access for all patients. He attained the prestigious level of Master in Academy of General Dentistry in 1994.
Dr. Loeffler has published articles on the Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary and the Dentist as a Practice Associate. An active AGD member, Dr. Loeffler was a founding member and developer of the “Peak Plan” Protocol CE program for the PAGD.
Dr. Loeffler is well known in the dental profession for his practical approaches to both Patient and Staff rights in the Dental Health Care System. Dr. Loeffler has lectured extensively on Risk Management, Liability Defense, Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliaries and Comprehensive Care, throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and nationally. Always active in organized dentistry, he served as the President of the Lancaster County Dental Society in 1988. In May of 2011 he was presented the honor of the H.K. Cooper Award by the Lancaster County Dental Society for his commitment to the patients of Lancaster County.
Dr. Loeffler has always had a passion for teaching and is now part of the faculty of the General Practice Residency Program at Lancaster General Heath / Penn Medicine, covering Advanced Restorative, Prosthetic and Implant Dental Reconstructions.
Dr. Loeffler enjoys fishing, boating and both water and snow skiing at every opportunity he can get. He has been married to his wife Linda, a elementary school teacher, for 44 years. They are the proud parents of son, Nicholas, who graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia in 2007, and daughter, Lauren, who graduated from Loyola University in Baltimore in 2011. Dr. and Mrs. Loeffler reside in Lancaster.
Charles C. Pitt D.M.D., M.A.G.D.
Dentist
Dr. Charles C. Pitt was born and raised in Timonium, Maryland. Raised by a single parent, his mother’s sense of values and commitment to family deeply shaped his life. Boy Scouts, was also an integral part of his youth and high school years.
Dr. Pitt graduated, in 1972 from Elizabethtown College, receiving his BS in Business with a focus on computers and accounting. Dr. Pitt graduated from Temple School of Dental Medicine in 1976. During his graduate work he was elected into: The St. Georges Oral Cancer society, Oral surgery Honor Society and was president of his professional fraternity Xi PSI PHI.
Dr. Pitt has been a full time practitioner for 41 years in Lancaster and New Holland, with a focus on reconstructive dentistry and dental implants. Dr. Pitt’s greatest passion is serving his patients with the highest quality and most leading edge dental care, in a warm and caring environment. Meeting the individual needs of each of his patients, has spurred his commitment and enthusiasm for continuing education.
