After years working in hospital trauma centres in Latin America and the United States with oral surgeons and other specialists, he made the move to Australia. For his first four years, Paulo worked as a part-time dental officer at the oral surgery department of the Royal Dental Hospital in Melbourne. Marileen Rachidi
Practice Manager
Graduated in 2005 as a Dental Office Chairside Nurse III and received her Diploma from CDI College of Ottawa ,Ontario Canada and pursue her carer here in Melbourne Australia as a Practice Manager/Treatment Coordinator and also maintaining her position as a highly qualified Senior Dental Assistant. Marileen is able to guide you through all treatment planning procedures. When not at work Marileen likes spending time with her family and exploring different places.
Dominic Di Luca
Prosthetist
Dominic has been working in the industry for nearly three decades. He started as a dental technician and later qualified as a dental prosthetist and has been working in his own business for over 20 years. As an active and highly involved member of the Australian Dental Prosthetist Association, he continues to keep his commitment to the industry by regularly studying and upgrading his skills. Dominic is also an active community member in Melbourne, regularly attending to patients’ denture needs at several Community Health Centres in the area.
Nasser AlBarbari
Oral Surgeon
Dr Albarbari is a registered specialist as an oral surgeon, having originally obtained his BDS in 1999, Dr. Albarbari has demonstrated immense interest in Oral and Jaw Surgery. Naser holds a Master of Science and the Speciality Membership of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians in Glasgow. In 2003 Naser received the prestigious MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and later in 2006 the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian.
Naser’s main practice area is Oral Surgery including Implant dentistry, wisdom teeth surgery and bone grafting. Besides his clinical duties, Dr Albarbari is active in Dental Education and is a member of several examiner panels including the Australian Dental Council and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon in Glasgow. Outside of dentistry, Naser enjoys White Water Rafting and Tchaikovsky music.
Douglas Lo
Dentist
Dr Douglas Lo grew up in Malaysia before he moved to Australia to pursue his further education. He graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) with a Bachelor of Science degree, and continued to pursue with a Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree in UQ. It was while studying Medicine that he found his passion in Dentistry. With this, Dr Douglas chose to move to Sydney where he graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry degree. Dr Douglas has since attended courses and conferences to expand his services to accommodate each patient. These include oral implantology, laser dentistry, facial botox and dermal fillers, aesthetic and cosmetic restorations, orthodontics and more. Dr Douglas believes in integrating patient factors when making tailored plans for his patients.
He aims to provide treatments that suit our patients and he understands that every patient is unique. He is diligent in his pursuit to stay current in providing leading dental treatments by utilizing state of the art technology eg. Digital implant system.
In his spare time, Dr Douglas enjoys playing basketball and trying coffees in new places. He also enjoys sitting down reading a good book with his two little boys.
