An internationally renowned airway, TMJ, and cosmetic dentist. Ratti Handa, D.M.D. has worked with some of the most prestigious specialty practices in Massachusetts. Dr. Handa has been specially trained in the areas of Biorejuvenation Dentistry, Sleep and Airway Dentistry, and Myofunctional Therapy. Since completing dental school in 1998, Dr. Handa has been a continuous learner attending some of the most prestigious higher education dental programs including the Pankey Institute, The Spear Institute, The Stewart Center, Vivos Education, and The Breathe Institute. Dr. Handa has spent hundreds of hours training in state of the art dental technology. More recently, she also graduated as an integrative health coach from the International Integrative Nutrition (IIN) Academy.
Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Handa understood the perseverance, commitment, and passion it would take to be an exceptional dentist. Dr. Handa received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University Dental School in 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the ABMS Institute of Dental Sciences and completed her residency at the Safderjung Hospital’s Department of Oral Surgery in India. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), and The Indian Dental Association.
Dr. Handa’s strength is rooted in the combination of her skills as both an airway and a cosmetic dentist. She has a special understanding of the preservation of a healthy mouth, as well as the art and dynamics of a beautiful smile.
Dr. Handa leads workshops across the country teaching her “Person Behind the Teeth” philosophy. She teaches other dentists to connect with patients and view dentistry through the patient’s perspective. Her philosophy is to serve patients as people and not as a chart or x-ray. She considers herself more than a dental care provider, but also a partner in every patient’s overall well being.
