Charles Town
Dr.
Dr. Charles Town, DDS, MAGD, DABOI, FAAID, grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, where he and his sister were raised by their mother. Dr. Town studied biology at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where he was the first person in his family to graduate with a Bachelor's degree. He met his future wife in college before continuing his studies at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Town earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012.
Dr. Town has continued his professional development by seeking continuing education (CE) courses.
In 2019, he received his Associate Fellowship award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, an internationally-recognized organization committed to the highest standard of care related to implant dentistry.
In 2020, Dr. Town received his Fellowship (FAGD) award from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award that requires over 500 hours of CE and passing a written exam.
In 2021, Dr. Town received his Mastership (MAGD) award from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award that requires over 1,100 hours of CE in multiple disciplines within dentistry. Later in 2021, Dr. Town also received his Diplomate award in the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI award). This award required over 400 hours of CE specifically focused on implant dentistry, pass the 200 multiple-choice written test questions, and pass an oral examination given by several implant specialists regarding 8 separate cases. This is the most rigorous examination process a dentist can submit themselves to for implant dentistry.
In 2022, Dr. Town was awarded Fellowship status with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID), the highest honor in the Academy.
Dr. Town enjoys providing a full-suite of dental care to his patients, such as full mouth rehabilitation with and without dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and routine dental care in his fully-digital dental practice.
