Dr Mila Cohen

Dr Mila Cohen

Pediatric Dentist

My name is Dr. Mila Cohen and I am board certified pediatric dentist, received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2011. I completed my General Practice Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and my Pediatric Dental Residency at the Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

I have worked as a Research Assistant, providing background research and inputting data, and gained an understanding of the importance of clinical research. I fully intend to put this knowledge to good use in the future and hope to publish primary literature.

I have always had a strong interest in Pediatric Dentistry, and I participated in many different extracurricular pediatric dentistry programs while completing my studies.

White Crowns on Baby Teeth

White baby teeth crowns blend in with your child’s natural teeth, making it less obvious that he’s had a restorative crowns on baby teeth treatment. Zirconia crowns are more expensive than composite crowns, but they’re exceptionally strong and long lasting. Pediatric dentists usually prefer to use stainless steel crowns for repairing molars (back teeth). And while they can be used for front teeth, parents often opt for white crowns on baby teeth.
