Dr. Dennnis M. Ward, DDSOrthodontist
Dennis M. Ward, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Dr. Dennis Ward, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, received his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University. He then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class. Upon graduation, he was invited to attend graduate school at the world leading Department of Orthodontics at Case Western Reserve University.
He has published numerous articles in leading orthodontic literature as well as lecturing both nationally and internationally. His passion for orthodontics led him to membership in the renowned Charles H. Tweed International Foundation, where he has been an instructor for over 20 years. Each year, Dr. Ward spends two weeks teaching residents the art and science of orthodontics. In addition to his practice, Dr. Ward also serves as a clinical instructor in Case Western Reserve University’s orthodontic department.
Dr. Ward was one of the first Board Certified orthodontists on the west side of Cleveland and in 2005 he voluntarily sought recertification. As a nominee for Director of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Ward continues to practice at the highest level, delivering a quality of care that is unsurpassed.
In addition to the Charles Tweed Foundation, Dr. Ward is a member of numerous orthodontic and dental societies, requiring yearly peer review of treated cases. Several of his patients have graced the cover of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. These covers are proudly displayed on the wall in our office.
Dr. Ward’s main area of focus is diagnosis. Developing the correct treatment plan, based on each individual’s needs, is a benchmark of his practice. No two people are alike; therefore each orthodontic treatment is unique to that individual. Long term esthetics, stability and function are mainstays in his practice.
He and his wife Meigan, live in Avon Lake and enjoy the beauty and recreational opportunities the North Coasthas to offer. They are both committed to family and a life of service before self.
