Dr. John Hanna
DDS
I was born in Cairo, Egypt. I graduated from a French high school, and I speak Arabic, English & French fluently. Since childhood, I dreamed of working in a profession that would help relieve pain and provide comfort to people. I enjoy carving by hand as a hobby in my spare time.
Dentistry became my profession of choice, as it combines art and science. So, I started school & graduated from the School of Oral & Dental Medicine, Cairo University in Egypt. I then started my private practice and practiced for almost 7 years before coming to the US.
I earned my DDS degree from UT Health Science Center San Antonio, then got my IV sedation training before I moved to Dallas.
I intend to continue participating in medical convoys, as I have in the past, in an effort to relieve pain and provide comfort to communities, while doing what I love best. This has been one of my lifelong ambitions; to serve God, and my brothers and sisters.

Dentistry is a wonderful profession because it allows me to change people’s lives in a positive way. It is very satisfying to wake up every day and know that I will make a difference in someone’s life, whether I am giving a patient back a smile they have lost or helping to alleviate a patient’s discomfort. I am very thankful for the wonderful relationships I have built with my patients over the years and I hope to make our office your home.
Education and Experience
I attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate education, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. I continued on to Baylor College of Dentistry where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. I am a general dentist providing orthodontic services.
There have been many advancements in technology and products over the years, and it is my goal to always offer my patients with the most effective and efficient care possible. I have taken hundreds of hours of continuing education every year to stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest in dentistry. I have taken courses in implant and cosmetic dentistry as well as orthodontics. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the North Texas Dental Society, and the Academy of GP Orthodontics.
My community is very important to me, and I believe in giving back to those less fortunate. For the past two years I have been involved with the Give Kids a Smile program, allowing children to receive much needed care.
Dr. Fred E. Thompson
DDS
American Board of Oral Implantology Fellow, American Academy of Implant Dentistry Dr. Fred Thompson has been providing quality dental care throughout the Dallas, TX area since 1980. In 1979, Dr. Thompson graduated from the Baylor College of Dentistry. He has extensive experience in oral surgery, cosmetic procedures, full-mouth reconstruction, and implant dentistry. Dr. Thompson is board certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Thompson has provided quality service for the last 35 years and continues to do so in his office. He is the dental implant specialist and has implanted more than 7,500 dental implants in his office and is only 1 of a handful of dentists in Texas to receive the designation as a “Specialist in Implant Dentistry”.
During his free time, Dr. Thompson enjoys cycling, flying, and spending time with his family, including his wife of more than 25 years, Linda, and their three children.
