Dr. Bawa grew up in Potomac, MD, and is a US-born Sikh, whose family is originally from India, and his values include the continual practice of sewa a commitment of selfless service to others in the community. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from American University in Washington, DC. Dr. Bawa achieved his DDS degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC in 2013.
